No, this is not a script for an upcoming sci-fi film, this is Deus-Ex: Human Revolution. This is the most anticipated game of 2011 and while it is on the store let me tell you this game is the one you should spend your money on.

STORY:

You play as Adam Jensen, a security expert in sheriff industry, a major player in the Augmentation business. You are left for dead at the Sheriff’s headquarter, and you are rehabilitated by augmentation. And while you are a man -machine you find the cause behind the attack that nearly killed you. As you walk through levels you find twist and terns in the story, which makes you sticking to the computer screen. I will give this game’s story line 4.5 out of 5.

GAMEPLAY:

The game play is awesome because it doesn’t force you to play in a particular type i.e. you can play through the mission stealthily or you can go in front of your enemy and shoot them. It’s completely your choice.  I will give this game’s game play a straight 5 out of 5.

99942 Apophis is a well known name to astronomers and scientists. If you are not then know that this is a word that made scientists a little bit worried around 2004. This is an asteroid which has a small probability (up to 2.7%) that it would strike the Earth in 2029.

Additional observation predicted that this asteroid is not going to smash with our planet or our dear moon. But it will cross through a gravitational keyhole which can cause this rock to divert from its original path and force it to crash into our planet.

But, a recent research in Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, reveals a project call Kamikaze (from Kami - "god" and kaze - "wind”) .It is a   satellite that will smash a soler sail into Apophasis and divert its path away from the gravitational keyhole.

By analysing the trajectory, speed and impact of a spacecraft, Gong says, “The results show that a 10 kg solar sail with a lead-time of one year can move Apophis out of a 600-m keyhole area in 2029.” The craft would also be sent into a retrograde orbit of the Earth to build up speed, so it will be moving at a super fast 90km/s by the time it collides with the asteroid.

European space agency is also thinking about smashing a rocket into Apophasis.

i Phone5 on the horizon

i Phone 5, is the word i doubt, will soon be indexed into dictionary. I am writing this because I uploaded an i phone pic recently and it was downloaded 300 times in 2 days.

I phone 5 some call it I Phone 4s is being manufactured by Pegatron. Reportedly Pegatron is ordered a massive amount of 15miilion i Phone 5 production by Jobes and co. While Apple confirmed that a new I phone is on the horizon it is unclear when it will be available. Some says that it will be in our hand in this September.

People are talking about iOS 5 and iCloud. And Apple’s CFO   Peter Oppenheimer said that “a lot going on in the fall with iOS 5 and iCloud”  but he also confirmed that “future product transition that we will not talk about today” .

According to T3 apple is recruiting more employee for this September. From a source of China Times , Apple will launch i Phone 5 on September 6^th.

Adding all the equation we can say that we will be lucky enough to see i Phone 5 in this September .At least we can get our finger crossed.

The new Secure Google

Google has recently launched their secure search option. It is an SSl search option which enables you to search more securely while protecting your search hidden from third party. It provides you more secure search option.

What is SSl?

SSL stands for Secure Sockets Layer. It is a web service which is made for secure web browsing, mailing, instant messaging. When you use this service the search queries and other information becomes encrypted so this info can’t be read by third party such as Internet Service Provider (ISPs), and employees.

When you use SSL search the browser does not send referrer info to any HTTP site you visit. But unfortunately at this time the SSL search only support web search. You won’t be able to see the typical image search and other option while on SSL search. But if you have a Google+ account you can see your notifications on your search page as it is secure page.

Facebook can make you narcissistic

Facebook can herm our social behavior and make us antisocial, sarcastic manic. At least Dr. Larry Rosen says so.

A recent study conducted by Dr. Larry shows that ‘Over Facebooking’ can cause lots of behavioral problems. In a talk named “Poke Me: How Social Networks Can Both Help and Harm Our Kids “ Dr. Larry Rosen pointed out that over Facebooking can cause-

          
              Narcissistic tendencies among teens and mania, aggression and other behavioral problems among young adults at Facebooking.

       

             Daily overuse of media and technology has a negative effect on the health of all children, preteens and teenagers by making them more prone to anxiety.

                      

             And last of all can hamper your study by causing distraction. He said that studying while Facebook is open on their PC shows lower retention rate than normal.

Rosen presented this finding by conducting surveys on 1000 adolescents and 15 min of observation in act of study.  

But not all study was negative. There is some positive side too. According to him introvert adolescents can improve socialism by interacting with online friends. 

iPhone APP for NASA's Space shuttle launch.

DR. Craig Hunter, an Aerospace engineer has developed an iPhone app to determine shuttle flight path.

As Atlantis going to be the last space shuttle to be launched Hunter research and development developed this app. They invited over 11 people and collected information of flight path.

Compared to the NASA’s and CBS News’s info about flight path the result looks satisfactory. After all it’s an iPhone not a supercomputer.

They have created Theodolite Free, Theodolite Basic, Theodolitepro and Theodolite HD. Theodolite Free doesn’t support capturing. Since Crysis 2 is launched many people were complaining that they can not toggle some major graphics option such as Anti aliasing,motion blur etc.These graphics option can seriously slow your FPS(frames per second) down.By disabling AA you can increase frame rate by 20-30%.

I have tested it on my on board ATI and it works like magic.
After installing this app all you need to do is to select the Crysis2.exe and then you can cang all the graphics option you want to change just by clicking the drop down list and select appropriate graphics option for you.

FBI has launched a new i Phone app for Children safety. They named it Child ID. The app lets parents Store the vital information about their children like height weight and other information enough to identify the child. And also let them send this information to the local Officers.

According to the FBI, in America every 40 second a child goes missing. So, they build a app that easy to use and instant. You don't need to go the police station or anywhere else. Just a push of a button in those panicking time can save a child's life.

They said that this app does not collect information of the child unless the parent presses the button. So, it is secure.

My Facebook id got hacked

A recent incident, made me write this post. Being a tech person I will say that internet has the potential to change the world. A day will come when people look back in our time and say “this is when we got online…”

But as of today, Internet has become a place for scammers too.  A group of people who are working day and night to work their way into the modern security systems and believe me they are smart. Sometime, smarter than all of us.

Facebook is a place where people share more than they do on real life. I have seen people who doesn’t talk face-to-face but when they are on Facebook They are completely different person. So, hacking of Facebook account can be very devastating to lot of us.

And I got that message too. Right now someone hacked my Facebook Id and posted some nasty thing on my wall. Fortunately I got it back as it was hacked by some rookie with some stupid tool. So I decided to look what went wrong. And I found lots of terrible and foolish mistake I have made. 

1: I left my Facebook login E-mail address open to all!!!!!!!

2: I did not activate any security services provided by Facebook itself.

So I have decided that I must take immediate action. So, I went to settings and then account settings then security. Then I activated secure browsing and login notification.

Ans.  This means that you serf all the Facebook pages while in “https” mode. HTTPS stands for Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secured i.e. when you send or receive some data it confined within the secured Facebook network. But this encrypted page takes longer to load and lots of third party applications are not supported. But this does not matter as long as it provides security.

What is login notification?

Ans. Enabling this feature enables you to check if your account is logged in using other computer. So, you can know that you have been hacked. You will get notification to your mail inbox as well as to your mobile. So this is a very useful service.

But wait is there something we are forgetting? Yes you must hide your primary email address by going to the settings account then Privacy settings.

When someone tries to change your Facebook password a confirmation message will be sent to your mail inbox from there you can change it back.

HTML Start

HTML stands for Hyper Text Markup Language, which is the root of any web Web design whether it is Facebook or Google .HTML is not a Programming language, it is a markup language. That means in HTML you cannot implement logics, you cannot run loops. Unlike programming languages it uses tags to describe a web page.

The best part of this language is that you do not need any fancy compiler or IEDs what you need is just a simple text editor like notepad or WordPad which is bundled with Windows itself so no need to install. You can write the code in the text editor then save it as .htm or .html. There is no difference between .htm and .html it just up to you.

Example.1:

<html> <body> <h1>Your First Heading</h1> <p>Your first paragraph.</p> </body> </html>

• The text between <html> and </html> describes the web page.
• The text between <body> and </body> is the page content.
• The text between <h1> and </h1> will be displayed as a heading.
• The text between <p> and </p> will be displayed as a paragraph.

Copy the above text to your text editor and save it as filename.html. Then go to the folder where you saved it and then open it.

You clearly see that every tag has a closing tag. Like <h1> has closing tag of </h1>.Without closing your tag the header will not be displayed as headers. So, be careful with that.
